Tangmarg is located gate way of world famous tourist resort Gulmarg in North Kashmir as well as functioning per pattern of sub district.
All head of the Government offices are located in the surrounding areas of main market at Tangmarg, but unfortunately authorities have totally ignored the place for the last four years.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that despite paying taxes and rent for the bus stand, the roads have developed big deep path poles at the bus stand.
“We pay rent and a lot of money ever year, but unfortunately Government does not spend the same amount for developmental facilities or to change the look of main market in Tangmarg which effects a huge fall in the local business units,” Shakeel Ahmed, a Tangmarg Resident told The Kashmiriyat.
The Businessmen in conversation with The Kashmiriyat appealed the governor as well authorities for giving priority to immediate action and save the local business from shrinking further.
