Unknown gunmen on Wednesday abducted a civilian from Handwara area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Towseef Ahmed Ganie, a resident of Tujjer Shareef in Sopore was abducted by masked gunmen from his shop at Younsoo in Handwara area of Kupwara district.
A Police official confirmed the abduction and said that Police has launched a search operation to find the kidnapped civilian.
