Gunshots have been heard during a cordon and search operation at Kreeri area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 29RR of Indian army and Jammu Kashmir Police had jointly launched a search operation in the area on Sunday afternoon.
The entry and exit points were blocked as the operation was launched.
Massive gunshots have been heard in the area, sources said.
However officials could not be reached to confirm whether a contact had been established with Militants or not.
