Massive Clashes erupted during a CASO launched in Khuri Batpora area of Damhal hanjipora Belt town in South Kashmir’s Kulgam District.
The Government forces laid down a Cordon and search operation in the main town area on Sunday afternoon.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 62 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and 18 BN CRPF laid down the Search operation jointly.
“The Operation was launched after troopers received a specific input about Militant movement in the area,” Sources said.
Hundreds of youth hit the streets when the Anti Militancy operation was launched and threw stones on troops amid intense pro Freedom sloganeering.
Meanwhile A Door to door search operation has been launched in the area after all the entry and exit points were sealed to the Batpora village.
