Gunshots trigger panic in north Kashmir’s Langate area

Gunshots were heard on Friday afternoon in the Langate area of Handwara in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Locals told The Kashmiriyat that panic gripped the Dandkadal area Langate of Langate in north Kashmir’s Handwara belt when gunshots rang in the locality on Friday immediately after the congregational prayers.

Meanwhile, the Government forces including the Police, Army and CRPF have reached the area in large numbers.
