Hailstorm Causes Heavy Damage to Crops in Budgam

Hailstorm on Thursday afternoon caused massive damaged to rice crops, vegetables and fruits in many areas of Central Kashmir’s Budgam District.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that fields in areas including Beerwah, Kawoosa Khalisa, Chek e Kawoosa, Manzhama, Narbal, Magam suffered heavy damage due to the hailstorm.

The hailstorm caused damage apple orchards, maize and rice fields to a great extent.
