
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha launched the Tiranga Yatra on Monday, participating in a walkathon with thousands of people, including public officials and representatives.
Sinha described the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign as a significant people’s movement and encouraged citizens to display the National Flag proudly at home. He emphasized that the campaign symbolizes a shared commitment to nation-building and fosters a personal connection with the Tricolor.
The Lieutenant Governor thanked the public for their essential role in the success of the yatra and highlighted the widespread support the campaign has received from various segments of society over the past two years.
He urged citizens to engage in related activities such as Tiranga rallies, concerts, and pledges.
During the event, Sinha also unveiled a monograph dedicated to the martyrs and bravehearts of Jammu and Kashmir and launched the Tiranga signature campaign.
