
On Friday, the Government forces claimed to have busted a hideout in Awantipora, Kashmir.
An official communique said that a huge quantity of ammunition kept hidden under the ground has been recovered.
The police have registered a case after recovering it.
This operation was carried out by Awantipora Police, Army’s 42-RR and CRPF’s Battalion-180.
An underground hideout was found. In which seven mortars (51 mm), 260 cartridges of PIKA rifle, two grenades and two sprays (made of chilli) have been recovered.
