High Speed internet has been restored on trial basis in 2 districts of Jammu Kashmir, Ganderbal and Udhampur, respectively.
The decision, to restore high speed internet will again be reviewed on 8 September.
meanwhile, in other districts 2G services will continue.
It is pertinent to mention here that the supreme court in a very calibrated decision had allowed, on trial basis, high speed internet to be restored in areas with low threshold of militant activities, with strict monitoring.
