The Police in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday claimed to have arrested a Militant affiliated with Militant outfit, Hizbul Mujahideen from Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh.
As per Press trust of India, OP Singh, Director General of Police, “A Hizbul Mujahideen militant was arrested in Kanpur.”
He also claimed that the Hizb militant was planning to carry out attacks on the Hindu festival of Ganesh Chaturthi in the North Indian State.
His identity could not be confirmed yet.
