Hundreds of books were damaged in a fire incident at an Islamic seminary in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that on Saturday morning massive fire engulfed the building of Darul-ul-Uloom Khair U Darsain in Chandigam Lolab after which fire tenders rushed to the spot.
The fire tenders extinguished the fire promptly, however, the building suffered significant damage.
No casualties or injuries were reported from the incident.
