The Joint Resistance leadership consisting of Yasin Malik, Geelani and Mirwaiz Umar have decided to postpone the strike call scheduled for 26 and 27 August.
The Hartal call has been postponed as the supreme court has deferred the hearing on the plea challenging special status of Jammu Kashmir to august 31.
Earlier the separatist leaders had said Harrtal will be observed on 26 and 27 August.
