Jammu Kashmir Police claimed to have arrested a hybrid militant along with an associate in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Friday, Police along with 53 RR of the Indian Army arrested a hybrid militant and his associate in the Pakherpora area of Budgam.
They identified the hybrid militants as Tanveer Ahmed Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammed Bhat and his associate as Yawer Ahmed Ganie son of Mohammed Maqbool Ganie, both residents of Chrar e Shareef in Budgam.
“Arms and ammunition which includes one pistol, a magazine, nine pistol rounds and other material was recovered from the possession of the duo,” they said.
