A devastating fire has destroyed the Imambara in Hanjuk village, Budgam district, Central Kashmir.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the blaze erupted late Saturday night and continued into early Sunday damaging the entire structure.
Despite the valiant efforts of firefighters, police, and local residents, the Imambara was reduced to ashes and debris.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
The Imambara, a significant religious and cultural landmark, held immense value for the local community.
Its destruction has deeply affected residents, who are mourning the loss of this cherished heritage site.
