
Educational institutions in Jammu and Kashmir are also likely to remain shut for the month of June 2021 in view of the covid 19 situations in the region.
Earlier the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, in view of the situation arising out of Corona ordered the closure of all educational institutions till 31 May.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a directive will be issued in the following days regarding the extension in the closure of educational institutes till June 30, 2021. The Lieutenant Governor, Mr. Sinha is expected to hold a high-level meeting in this regard.
Presently, online examinations are being conducted for all college and school-level students.
The administration has also implemented a curfew till May 31 in all 20 districts of Jammu Kashmir.
In the next few days, new guidelines will be issued by the administration and Educational institutions are not likely to be opened for two to three months to prevent the children from getting infected.
