Indian Army Conducts Medical and Physical Tests for Upcoming Recruitment in Anantnag

Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles boost capabilities of youths for upcoming recruitment rallies & motivating them to join Indian Armed Forces, Larikpura Camp conducted pre-recruitment medical and physical tests for the youth of their AOR. Very good response was received for the same as more than 100 boys of age group between 16-20 years including three NDA aspirants attended the same and benefitted from it.

In a press release, the Indian Army said, Lt Col Manpreet Singh, 2IC briefed them about the event and the necessity of conducting these events for youths of the valley. Then documentation checking was conducted and all were briefed about the documents required for recruitment. Thereafter, a pre-recruitment rally was conducted for them which include 1.6 Km run, Chin Ups, Zig Zag balancing and a 9 ft ditch. Everybody was quite enthusiastic about the day’s event and they gave their best and were hugely benefitted from the same.

Unit RMO Capt Pradeep S also carried out pre-medical tests and gave them various tips for maintaining their physical fitness. Everybody thanked CO for this novel initiative and requested more such events in the future.

The aim of the event was to Strength the Connection with Awam and jawan Projection of the Positive Image of the Indian Army through Maintain Peace, Engaging the Future Generation in positive activities to channelization of youth energy in a positive direction.
