Indian Army’s 18 Rashtriya Rifles organised a rock climbing day-out to Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering (JIM), Pahalgam.
A total of 20 children were a part of the trip.
The children were introduced to various techniques and equipment at the institute.
An Army official told The Kashmiriyat that it was an enthralling day filled with fun, laughter and adventure. The kids were extremely thrilled after spending an exciting day at the institute.
Such trips and events organised by the Indian Army help boost students’ morale and provide them with exposure, the official added.
