Indian Army Organizes Pan Body Buiding Competition in Kashmir

A Pan Kashmir Body Building Competition  ‘SHER-E-KASHMIR’ was conducted by the 20 RR of Indian Army at APS, BB Cantt on Wednesday.

As per an official press release issued to The Kashmiriyat, the event was the final round of many preliminary competitions that were conducted across the Kashmir valley.

“The preliminary competitions were organized by various sectors at 9 different locations across North & South Kashmir, in which more than 200 youth participated,” the Army said.

The best 50 bodybuilders were called upon for the final competition, SHER-E-KASHMIR, which was held at Srinagar. 

The competition was organised in eight weight categories.

All participants displayed outstanding skills, sportsmanship and dedication. Individual prize for winners of each weight category as well as overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd were given.

Colonel Praveen Kumar, CO, 20 Rashtriya Rifles distributed Prizes to all the winners.
