An infant was found dumped near a riverside in the Maingam area of south Kashmir’s Qazigund area.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that on Sunday afternoon, locals spotted the body of an infant lying by a river side near a bridge in Nallah Yathvathur in the Manigam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The locals called the Police who took the body into their custody. The Police took the dead body has been fished out and taken to a nearby hospital for legal medical formalities.
The Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
