Intense Clashes have erupted on new bypass (Mehandi Kadal to Ashajipora road) in Islamabad township of South Kashmir on Wednesday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that hundreds of youth shouting pro Freedom and pro Islam slogans threw stones on Government Forces.
Government Forces are engaged in a gunfight with Militants trapped in a house of Mehmaan Mohallah in Lal chowk area of Islamabad (Anantnag) township.
The Forces fired aerial shots and tear smoke shells to disperse the protesting youth, however the clashes were going on when this report was filed.
No Clashes have been reported from anywhere else in the township.
