Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted in Sangrama area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district where a gunfight had raged between militants and forces early morning on Monday.
A Local told The Kashmiriyat that scores of protesters including women assembled and pelted stones on forces who responded to immense tear smoke shelling.

Announcements are being made on loudspeakers in the mosques asking others to come out, a local told The Kashmiriyat.
People in large numbers from adjacent areas are trying marching towards the site where gunfire had been exchanged early morning.
Meanwhile Mobile internet Services have been barred in the Shopian District.
