Intense Stone throwing clashes erupted in Memander area of South Kashmir’s Shopian as hundreds of youth hit the streets.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that youth shouting slogans against civilian killings appeared on the roads and the forces deployed in the area fired tear smoke shells on them.
The youth in retaliation threw stones on them and tried to chase them away, however the youth regrouped in large numbers and continued the stone throwing.
The clashes were going on when this report was filed.
