Intense Clashes have erupted on Friday morning in the Main town area of Pulwama in South Kashmir.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that scores of youth started throwing stones on a Local Police Post in the area.
Shouting Pro Freedom and Pro Militancy Slogans the youth hit the streets as the news of a gunfight in Islamabad (Anantnag) district reached there.
The troops chased away the protesting youth.
However the clashes were going on when this report was filed.
