Intense Clashes erupted in Bhan area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District on Friday night when youth threw stones on Forces passing through the area.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that scores of youth threw stones on a patrolling party of Government Forces after which forces swung into action and fired tear smoke shells at the protesters.
The protesters regrouped in massive numbers and continued stone throwing, meanwhile reports suggest that three youth have been arrested from the Bhan locality in Quimoh area of Kulgam.
The Locals meanwhile alleged that troops vandalized the property of locals and barged into households and smashed the window panes of many houses.
The clashes were going on when this report was filed.
The Army Spokesman while speaking to The Kashmiriyat denied the allegations.
