A youth has been Killed in firing near the gunfight site in Czogam area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Rouf Ahmed Ganie son of Abdul Salam Ganie, a resident of Anchidoora was hit by a bullet in his throat during the clashes that erupted following an encounter in the Czogam, Qazigund area.
He was referred to Srinagar, however he succumbed on the way to hospital.
Hundreds of people have gathered at the house of Rouf Bashir as his body has reached back to his native.
The others who are being treated at the hospital in Islamabad have been identified as Javaid Ahmed, a resident of Czogam Kulgam, Pellet injury in the right eye, Umar, a resident of Panzath, pellet injury in the right eye, referred to SMHS, Adil Ahmed, a resident of Qazzgund, FAI in the leg, Referred to Bone and Joints hospital, Barzulla Srinagar, Suhail Ahmed, a resident of Bapora Kulgam , Bullet wound in the left leg referred to Bone and Joints hospital, Barzulla Srinagar, Mohammed Amin, a resident of Qazigund, pellet injury in head and face, Aijaz Ahmed, Churath Czogam, Pellet injury in the eye, Muneeb, a resident of Qazigund has sustained pellet injuries on right side neck, Salib, aresident of Czawalagam, Pellet injury left leg, Imran Ahmed, of Czogam pellet injury in the left leg, Muzaffar Ahmed, Bullet injury in abdomin, referred to SKIMS, Asif Ahmed Kelam in Devsar, Pellet injury Forehead.
Meanwhile hospitals at Qazigund told The Kashmiriyat that six youth injured in the clashes were admitted there.
