The Newly Recruited youth from Islamabad (Anantnag) district in South Kashmir has appeared in Khudwani area of Kulgam district to offer gun salute to the slain Civilian Arif Sofi.
Arif was nabbed by suspected Gunmen from his house in Khudwani late night on Wednesday and was later sent back home in an unconscious state, he later succumbed to his injuries at a Srinagar Hospital.
On Arif’s funeral, his father who is a Jamaat e Islami activist has asked Militants to prove that his son was an informer.
On Thursday evening, Basit Mir appeared at the house of Arif Sofi along with his associate and fired shots in the air to offer gun salute to Arif Sofi.

Basit, who is from Pushwara area of Khanabal in Islamabad (anantnag) district had joined Militant outfit Lashkar e Taiba on 01 August 2018
