The Police Station Sopore received an information regarding the movement of drug peddlers in Sopore on Friday after which a Naka was laid by Station House Officer, Police Station Sopore at Batpora Crossing road.
During the checking, Three persons were intercepted and during checking 31 bottles of SYSCODINE, ONEREX and 104 Capsules of SPASMOPROXVYON PLUS were recovered from their possession.
The three were soon detained and identified as Aamir Akbar Mir, a resident of Mumkak Sopore, Taufeeq Ahmad Lone resident of Khamvyar Pattan and Tauqeed Ahmad, a resident of Khamvyar Pattan.
The Jammu Kashmir Police has registered a Case in this regard under the FIR No. 227/2018 U/S 8/22 NDPS Act and further investigation has been taken up.
