Jammu Kashmir Police Seizes Alcohol Bottles in Pahalgam

The Jammu Kashmir Police on Wednesday claimed to have seized 57 bottles of alcohol from Pahalgam area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (anantnag) District.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that during a patrol laid down by Jammu Kashmir Police, they recovered huge quantity of Rum and Whiskey, which was being illegally transported.

While talking to The Kashmiriyat Station House Officer Pahalgam confirmed that some alcohol has been recoveered from a vehicle.

He said that the Police is investigating the matter and will ascertain the facts soon.
