In a major jolt to the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, senior party leader and district president Ganderbal, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar on Thursday resigned from the party post.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Ishfaq Jabbar said that he has resigned from the post of district president Jammu Kashmir National Conference Ganderbal.
“I’m resigning from the post of District President @JKNC_Ganderbal & I will continue to carry forward the mission of Sher-e-Kashmir for which the people of J&K have sacrificed,” he Tweeted. (KF)
