The Government forces on Tuesday morning assaulted Journalists in Srinagar when they were covering Muharram procession in the city’s Jahangir Chowk area.
Photojournalists including Waseem Andrabi, Sajad Hameed, Mehran Bhat and Burhan Bhat were assaulted by the forces personnel and the equipment of Sajad Hameed was also damaged.

“We do not know why do we often come under attack, We were just doing our job, They hit us without any provocation,” a journalist told The Kashmiriyat.
Mehran Bhat who reports for The Kashmiriyat was also assaulted by the Forces.
