Nadav Lapid said that a film like this never belongs to film festivals.
He said that it was not right to include a film like Kashmir Files in the fair and that out of 15 films selected, fourteen films were of good quality.
Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the film is based on the “exodus” of Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990s. The film was screened in the Indian Panorama and International competition categories.
