A youth was injured on Monday after Police chased protesters in Kangan near Main market Kangan district in Central Kashmir.
Witnesses said that a youth namely Gowhar Ahmad Rather,was a part of group that had assembled near main market Kangan monday evening.
According to initial reports, the injured youth was rushed to Kangan Sub-district hospital for initial treatment.
Doctors , reportedly have referred the injured to SKIMS Soura hospital for advanced treatment.
Medical Superident Kangan hospital told “Gowhar had injury in the head so we had to refer him to SKIMS”.
Police official said that police chased away the group of youth but no shots were fired.
Meanwhile protests are going on in the area against this incident.
Police registered a case in this regard investigation is going on
