The Jammu Kashmir Government on Thursday booked a senior Hurriyat leader under Public Safety Act (PSA) in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Sheukh Danish Mushtaq, who is the district president for Geelani’s Hurriyat was arrested on 16 March and was booked under PSA on Thursday.
Danish has been shifted to Kupwara District jail.
A resident of Aloosa area in North Kashmir’s Bandipora, Danish who was arrested during a nocturnal raid in Pattan was according to Police involved in “creating law and order problems.”
