Amid an intense crackdown launched by Government Forces in Kashmir, a School teacher in custody, a government school teacher from Kashmir’s Pulwama has been booked under Public Safety act.
Arshid Ahmad Das, a resident of Braw-Bandina area of Pulwama in South Kashmir, who works as teacher at a government school in Zainpora area of Shopian was detained by police on February 24 during a nocturnal raid.

Another person booked under PSA recently from Pulwama district, Aejaz Ahmad Dar is reportedly the Tehsil president of Jamaat e Islami for Tral.
Aejaz who is a resident of Noorpora in Tral as per his family was arrested in a nocturnal raid on his house on February 24.
Most of the people who were arrested during the raids on February including Jamaat e islami activists have been released.
Arshid as per his family was earlier arrested on prime minister’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir. Arshid is married and has two children studying in 8th and 5th standards.\
He added that in 2016 Aejaz was summoned by police but released soon.
The persons who were booked under PSA include four Hurriyat activists Imtiyaz Haider, Tashoq Ahmad, Ghulam Muhammad Misgar and Muhammad Yousuf.

They said that all the nine persons have been shifted to Kotbalwal jail in Jammu today.
