As Eid ul Adha approaches, the Meteorological department of Kashmir has provided insights into the weather conditions expected during the festive period.
According to a Meteorological official, until June 18th, Kashmir is likely to see generally dry conditions, although isolated areas may experience light rain or thunder. Meanwhile, the plains of Jammu are expected to face a heatwave, with hot and dry weather forecasted elsewhere in Jammu and Kashmir.
From June 18th to 21st, the weather is predicted to become generally cloudy, with the possibility of light rain or thunder in isolated areas during the afternoon and evening hours. Farmers have been advised to resume agricultural activities, capitalizing on the dry weather conditions.
Looking ahead, dry weather is expected on June 17th and 18th, with intermittent showers forecasted from June 19th to 21st in both Kashmir and Jammu.
Temperatures in Jammu are anticipated to soar to 45 degrees Celsius over the next five days. However, the temperature is expected to decrease in Kashmir tomorrow, with dry weather prevailing until June 18th, albeit with a slight chance of evening showers on June 14th and 15th.
