The Jammu Kashmir police on Friday announced a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest of an SPO, who fled with seven rifles and a pistol from the house of a lawmaker here.
A police spokesman said that Rs 2 lakh reward will be given to anyone who gives information about the deserter cop and the weapons.
SPO Aadil Bashir posted as security guard with senior PDP leader and MLA Wachi decamped with seven service rifles and a pistol from the Jawahar Nagar residence of the lawmaker sending the entire security grid in a tizzy.
