Universities in the Kashmir valley have postponed all exams scheduled today in view of the heavy snowfall across the region.
Central University of Kashmir announced that the exam which was scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday (February) 23 stands postponed.
The University spokesman said fresh dates for the postponed exams will be notified separately. The overnight snowfall caused a heavy blanket of snow which snapped power supply and blocked roads on a large scale.
“All UG/PG/ Professional examinations of the Kashmir University scheduled to be held on February 23, 2022 (Wednesday) have been postponed in view of the inclement weather conditions,” said Controller of Examinations Dr Majid Zaman, in a statement.

A statement from cluster university’s Controller said “All the examinations of Cluster University Srinagar scheduled on 23rd February, 2022 have been postponed due to inclement weather. Fresh dates for postponed papers shall be notified separately.”
