The Meteorological Department has issued a weather update for Jammu Kashmir, forecasting generally dry conditions for most parts of the region in the coming week.
However, light rain and snow are expected over the higher reaches of north and central Kashmir on October 29.
According to the forecast, dry weather will prevail on October 28, followed by generally cloudy conditions on October 29 with the possibility of light rain in the plains and light snow in the higher altitudes.
From October 30 to November 7, the weather is expected to remain dry across the region.
Farmers are advised to continue harvesting crops and ensure the safe storage of harvested produce.
Additionally, the weather department has warned of possible mist or shallow fog in the plains of Kashmir during the morning hours from November 1 onwards.
These conditions are favorable for continued agricultural activities, but caution is urged due to the potential fog that may affect visibility in early mornings.
