
The Kashmir valley on Sunday is wearing a deserted look on August 15 on the eve of the 75th independence day celeberations.
Shops and other business establishments remained shut in most parts of the valley while as check points and barricades have been erected at the main squares and points from North to South Kashmir.
In Srinagar too, Massive security arrangements have been made as people mostly have chose to remain indoors.
A massive LED Screen was installed in Srinagar to telecase the live speech of PM Modi from the New Delhi’s Red Fort, however there hardly were any spectators from the same, Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat.

Meanwhile the administration had directed the Government officials including the teachers to hoist the tricolour at their respective offices and schools.
