X, formerly Twitter, banned the account of Kashmiri socio-political activist Angad Singh Khalsa in India.
“@ASkhalsa084’s account has been withheld in India in response to a legal demand,” shows Angad Singh Khalsa’s account on X.
Dr Kulbeer Singh, a sikh activist, while responding to the action wrote on X, “The twitter/X handle of Angad Singh Khalsa (@ASkhalsa084 ) has been withheld in India.”
“Withholding accounts of activists, Journalist, political leaders isn’t a practice that we should perform when we are calling ourselves ‘Mother of Democracy’,” it reads.
