Kashmiri boy Danish Farooq named in India’s National football squad

Kashmiri footballer Danish Farooq who hails from the downtown area of Srinagar has made it to India’s international squad for the upcoming international friendlies in Bahrain.

The 25 year-young footballer who plays for Bengaluru Football club in the Indian football league- ISL, has been selected in India’s provisional 38-member senior squad.

India is scheduled to hold a 10-day camp from March 10 before playing Bahrain and Belarus on March 23 and March 26, respectively.
