Kashmiri Pandits stage protest against administration for failing to provide proper accommodation to Pandit families under PM package Employees in Vessu village of Qazigund, Kulgam district.
The Kashmiri Pandit protestors said, “we settled back in 2010. We are 1400 families in which only 328 are living inside quarters and other families are still living in rented rooms, we demand the administration to provide us with proper accommodation”.
The protesters shouted slogans against the administration for building quarters for outsiders and not for the KP community. They have appealed Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha to look into the matter and intervene regarding their genuine demand for immediate redressal.
