Kashmiri student dies of heart attack in Kharar

A Kashmiri student studying at a college in Chandigarh passed away on Tuesday morning after suffering a heart attack at his rented accommodation in Kharar.

Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, a fellow student confirmed that the deceased was Adeel Nazir, a sixth-semester BCA student at SVIET College and a resident of Hyderpora, Srinagar.

“He collapsed at his room on Landran Road around 11:11 a.m. We rushed him to Civil Hospital, Kharar, but the doctors declared him brought dead,” the student said.

His body is currently at the hospital.

Friends and students have urged authorities and counselors to help reach out to his family in Kashmir.
