Amid mourning and grief, hundreds of people reached the house of Abdul Rashid Bhat of Bhagat area in Srinagar, whose son was allegedly killed in the Jungpura area of New Delhi.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, family of the deceased identified as Aqib Rashid said that he was found dead in his room at Junpura area of South Delhi and alleged that their son was murdered.
Aqib, as per his family was working at Jio services earlier and had moved to Delhi and was working at the airport, while his death comes as a shocker to the family and the entire area.
People in the area have reached in great numbers to attend the funeral of the deceased.
“Kashmiri youth are not safe anywhere, he has been murdered by goons out there for merely being a Kashmiri,” his father told The Kashmiriyat.
His father added, “Police should investigate the matter thoroughly and investigate the matter to find the culprit”.
Delhi Police has launched a probe into the incident.
