The Association of Cine & TV/Ad Production Executives (ACTAPE), affiliated to FWICE, marked a historic milestone as it celebrated 50 years of Golden Jubilee Production and hosted its 12th Annual Awards Function in a grand ceremony at ISKCON Auditorium, Juhu, Mumbai, on Thursday evening.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Shri Ramdas Athawale, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, who applauded the association’s five-decade journey in uplifting India’s film, TV, and advertising production sectors.
Distinguished guests of honour included Raza Murad, Arjun, Gajendra Chauhan, Ashoke Pandit, Rajpal Yadav, Abha Parmar, Manoj Purbey, B.N. Tiwari, Ashok R. Dubey, and Gangeshwarlal Shrivastava. Their presence added glamour and gravitas to the celebrations.
A proud moment for Jammu & Kashmir came as Suhail Syed Lone from Bandipora was honored with the Best Hindi Film Line Producer Award. He was one of two nominees from the region, the other being Shabir Ahmad from South Kashmir. Suhail stood out nationally for his exemplary contribution to Hindi cinema production.
The evening featured vibrant performances, emotional tributes, and heartfelt speeches. Awards were presented across various categories to recognize outstanding contributions in media production. The celebrations highlighted ACTAPE’s enduring role in supporting the backbone of the entertainment industry — its production executives.
