Ahead of the winter, the Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a curtailment schedule for the Srinagar district.
As per the schedule issued by the KPDCL, non-metered areas in Srinagar will face a power cut of 3 hours a day while as the metered areas will have power curtailment of 1.5 hours a day.

The KDPCL said that the schedule will come into effect from today in the Srinagar district.
The metered areas in the district will have power cuts for 45 minutes in the morning and 45 in the evening, while as the non-metered areas will have power cuts for one and a half hours in morning and evenings.
