Khalid Jahangir today assumed the charge as Deputy Commissioner, of Islamabad (anantnag) in South Kashmir from Mohammad Younis Malik, outgoing Deputy Commissioner at DC Office, here.
Mr. Khalid Deputy Commissioner, after assuming the charge met the prominent media persons of the district and sought cooperation from them and the general public for the overall development of the district.
The newly joined Deputy Commissioner also interacted with senior officers of the district administration including Additional Deputy Commissioner, ACR, Joint Director Planning, Deputy District Election Officer, & other senior officers.
Meanwhile Syed Abid, the former DC of Srinagar has assumed charge as the District Development Commissioner of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
