Kill us, Crush us, We will Fight for Azadi- Ummat e Islami

The Ummat e Islami has called the ongoing bloodshed in Kashmir as a genocide of young Kashmiri Polpulation. Addressing mourners at the house of Slain Militant, Basit Ahmed Mir in Pushwara on Saturday, Gulzar Madni, a party leader said that Indian state is flexing muscles against the third generation of Kashmiris. “Indian state should not think that the voice of Kashmiris can be muzzled by killing young men, the cause is a collective consceince of all Kashmiris,” he said. He said that young men like Basit Ahmed Mir have infused new life to the Kashmir cause and reiterated our genuine demand for Azadi. He said that, now it is for people to take the mission of these martyrs to its logical conclusion.

The delegation led by Waheed Ahmed Khan also visited the house of slain Militant commander, Azad Ahmed Malik in Arwani area of South Kashmir.

Delegations of Ummat e Islami visited the house of Slain Militant Azad Malik in Arwani, Basit Mir in Pushwara, Firdous Ahmed in Pulwama, Unais Shafi and Aatif Nazir in Bijbehara.

The delegation comprising of Aijaz Hashmi and Buland Iqbal visited the family of Firdous Ahmed where Aijaz Hashmi said that the Indian state should take lessons from history and understand that might has always failed to muzzle the sentiments of Kashmiris. “Whenever any power has used force against Kashmiris, the people of the nation have emerged stronger than ever,” he said. Kashmir cannot be controlled through the might of guns, he added. The team expressed solidarity with the family of the slain Militant.

Another team of Ummat e Islami comprising of Shams u Din Zargar and Riyaz Ahmed Qadri visited the house of slain Aatif Nazir and Unais Shafi in Bijbehara and offered Fateh Khwani to the slain Militants.

Ummat e Islami also paid rich tributes to the 17 people killed in the past three days in South Kashmir and said that Indian state is trying to crush the genuine sentiments of the people of Kashmir but they have miserably failed.

The organization demanded the release of Qazi Ahmed Yasir, Aijaz Ahmed Noori, Shakeel Bakshi, Sarjan Barkati and other political prisoners.
