Kishtwar police recovers two missing females, reunites them with their families

In a significant achievement, the Kishtwar Police successfully located and recovered two missing females, ensuring their safe reunion with their families.

An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that upon receiving separate reports of missing females, the Kishtwar Police promptly registered the cases at the Kishtwar Police Station.

Responding with efficiency and determination, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishtwar, Khalil Poswal, took immediate action and formed specialized teams.

These teams, led by SHO PS Kishtwar, Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, operated under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy SP) Headquarters Kishtwar, Dr. Ishan Gupta.

The dedicated teams, employing advanced technical resources and methodologies, conducted targeted operations at suspected locations. Their relentless efforts and extensive investigative work culminated in successfully locating both missing females. Subsequently, all requisite legal procedures were diligently carried out, leading to the heartwarming reunification of the recovered individuals with their families.

SSP Kishtwar Khalil Poswal emphasized the unwavering commitment of the police force in combating social crimes and swiftly addressing cases related to women’s safety.

He urged the general public to join hands with the police in addressing social issues within their communities the official added. (KS)
