The Chief Horticulture Officer (CHO) Shopian, who is also the District Nodal Officer (DNO) ‘Kissan Sampark Abhiyan’ today organised an awareness camp regarding ‘DAKSH KISAN’ at Government Degree College (GDC) Zainapora, Shopian.
The programme was organised with the continuous efforts of the department to generate awareness of DAKSH KISAN portal for skill training courses under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) among the educated youth.
During the programme, the students were made aware about the prestigious HADP and were urged to ensure maximum enrolment in “Daksh Kisan” to avail orientation and skilling courses for all interventions, latest techniques and exploring new possibilities.
Resource persons from the KVK, Agriculture and allied departments appraised the participants about the DAKSH KISAN, an online learning management study programme aimed at providing online trainings about 121 courses of 5-7 days duration to the interested sections of the society with main focus on the 29 Projects earmarked under HADP.
The programme was attended by representatives from line departments besides the faculty of college and students.
